Gah…this character kills me….I adore his vulnerability when it comes to Kate.

I didn't fall in love with Chase, but my heart went pitter patter when he stayed by Emma's side during her recovery. I love how he just turns to mush for her and lets his guard down.
I think I love him so much because he's so torn. I love a good tormented hero!! smiles....
Absolutely! What a quote! Yep. I melted a little bit at that one too. I was sold on Chase from the beginning. Even though I've read a few reviews stating that Chase "was an ass", I didn't feel that way at all. I love that he doesn't want her to fall for him. He isn't reckless with her heart. Chase cares for her so much, he tries to guard Kate from an inevitable hurt, and I think that adds another dimension to his character and the way their relationship evolves. I enjoy characters that are multi-faceted. Chase has layers of interesting "stuff" going on, and I liked him from the get-go. :)
I LOVED Chase! Maybe I'm just attracted to the over inflated type "a" ego lol... When you find out he was there for her the entire time, as well as trying to protect her...I just kinda melted.
